The Safer Choice program covers a variety of bathroom-related cleaning products, including toilet bowl cleaners, tub/tile cleaners, countertop cleaners, and more.
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) created the Design for the Environment (DfE) logo to make it easier for people to find disinfectants that meet their high environmental and health standards. Products must be registered with EPA and meet federal disinfectant standards (FIFRA) to make disinfectant claims. Disinfectant products that carry the DfE logo contain ingredients that meet an additional high standard for both human and environmental health and help people protect their family, workplace, community, and environment.
