According to BioPreferred, hand soaps and cleaners are products formulated for personal care use in removing a variety of different soils, greases, and similar substances from human hands with or without the use of water. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Recommended Specifications, Standards, and Ecolabels

Executive Order (EO) 14057, Catalyzing Clean Energy Industries and Jobs Through Federal Sustainabilityopens in new window, (08 DEC 2021), requires federal agencies to purchase sustainable products and services certified to the standards/ecolabels included in the Recommendations to the maximum extent practicable.

Hand Soaps and Cleaners certified under UL2784 may be available from contractors on the following GSA Multiple Award Schedules:
