Design Charrette
At the beginning of a project, all the important team members should meet together at a Design Charrette. The Charrette includes all the stakeholders in the project (building manager, architect, contractor, developer, engineers, etc.) to set goals, create a timeline, and get acquainted with the team. Design Charrettes are an important feature of Integrated Project Design. They provide the opportunity to unify the team and avoid conflicts of interest by gathering the input from all participants and working towards a common goal. They can also establish a timeline, to facilitate the on-time work and completion of a project.
