Air Hand Drying

Description

Air-based hand drying utilizes high speed air and/or warm air to remove or evaporate water from a user’s hands. The high-speed air systems are slightly more effective and energy efficient when compared to the warm air variety.

Implementation Tips:

  • Conduct a cost analysis using local electricity rates
  • Consider the potential spread of pathogens when using models without appropriate filtration
  • Carefully consider the placement of hand dryers to minimize accidental activation of the dryer
