Vinyl Flooring

Description

Vinyl flooring is a type of resilient flooring made of a mixture of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and plasticizers. It comes in both sheet and tile options in an array of attractive and vibrant appearances. While durable, manufacturing of vinyl has been found to cause significant pollution.

Tips

O+M Tips

  • Use cleaning chemicals and solutions that are Green Seal certified.

End of Life Tips

  • Since vinyl flooring is comprised of chemical compounds that aren't environmentally friendly, it's important that old vinyl products are not incinerated.
