DOE GreenSpace Award

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) GreenSpace Award focuses on greening an entire space by addressing the purchase of more sustainable equipment, materials, and products in that space. Sustainable equipment, materials, and products are identified in the DOE Priority Products List.

The GreenSpace Award can be achieved at multiple levels over multiple years. See the DOE GreenBuy Award Guide for how to achieve recognition at the Bronze (meet 60% of the purchasing goals), Silver (meet 80% of the purchasing goals), or Gold (meet 100% of the purchasing goals) levels.

Follow the green dots on these interactive graphics to identify how to make the equipment, materials, and products in each space more sustainable. To achieve the GreenSpace Award, meet at least one of the goals for each product type pertinent to the space.
