Smart Home Energy Management System (SHEMS) is the combination of a service and devices that are designed to work together to deliver occupancy-based optimization of energy use. The SHEMS includes a consumer interface that allows users to view energy consumption information and control all connected devices, and responds to user-established rules and schedules to save energy.
