Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning Zone (Zoning)

Zoning is the process of dividing up a space into smaller sub-spaces based on their HVAC needs and control systems. For instance, a facility with a kitchen would have a separate control system for the kitchen zone because the air temperature and fresh air needs of a kitchen are different than the needs of an office space.
