If there is more than one program listed below, agencies are directed to prioritize multi-attribute products, which meet statutory purchasing program requirements (asterisk) and one or more required Environmental Protection Agency purchasing programs.

  • CAP - Cost, availability, performance are exemptions allowed for those products Federal agencies are required to purchase which have been designated by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) for biobased products, DOE for FEMP products, EPA for ENERGY STAR certified, SNAP, recycled content, and WaterSense products. Underwriters Laboratories Environment (ULE) has taken over the EcoLogo and GREENGUARD standards.  The respective replacement standards are reflected accordingly.
