Facilities Management Institute Core Competency Web Tool User’s Guide

The Core Competency Web Tool gives resources, links to training, and a self-assessment tool to support users’ needs to benchmark and update core competency knowledge, skills and abilities. GSA has identified core competencies required for those involved in facility management. Users must demonstrate all competencies applicable to them within one year, and certifications and licenses. A user and their supervisor should discuss core competency areas, competencies, and performances relevant to their position before using the tool.
